A stony garden appeared, like the imminent component of my site. And that's why. The found part, who sought development, had a completely infertile soil. Instead of the land we, the truckers, actually had one clay, for which it was difficult to grow something.
And I wanted to grow flowers! And through my own dreams I did not intend to go. She asked my wife to bring me some tires, poured into their land, brought from the forest belt and abandoned greenhouses. Rose raised flower beds, in which I planted flowers. They grew well, in the main year I admired them only and was happy. And the next spring, after looking for the occupation of my own hands, I was disappointed. The tires all looked the same in my garden, like an alien thing. I wanted to be closer to nature. And then it dawned on me! Why is the desire not to take the risk of replacing tires with a rock? Determined, I went for his prey in a nearby ravine. I recruited a suitable medium-sized material and started creative work.
From the collected stone, I laid out the first raised flower bed, filled it with soil and planted alpine flowers. Next was the 2nd flowerbed, close to it - the 3rd. An essay was emerging that suppressed me with one - monotony. Then the higher eye fell for a pile of gravel, the rest of the builders. And I decided that, for the sake of complete happiness, I do not have enough gravel beds. I posted them, like additional segments related to the overall composition. Later, a gravel creek appeared, flowing through the well to the flower beds. This stream served a very useful service. He thematically linked buildings for plots with rockery, who previously was placed seemingly separately through only the rest. In my own rockery, I grow Alpine plants, which require approximately the same criterion of content. For the sake of their own flowerbeds located for an open site, I chose sun-loving undemanding future, in need of loosely, water-permeable soils. Such a land I composed, diluting ordinary soil with a lot of baking powder and peat.
Some plants I grew from seeds, others - I took already in the form of formed bushes or cuttings. Because of them, special care is not required. I watered all the way around the plant, without waiting for the excessive drying of the earth. I feed very occasionally, once a season, using a soluble mineral fertilizer. Alpine well grow for poor soils. I was at first a poor land, so that they did not grow great and stayed in the form of small, low pillows. Essence, so that bloom! If you do not bloom, then the fertilizing is inevitable.
And now about a collection of plants. One of the most beloved - saxifrage Arendse. It vividly grows, flourishes blossom, capable of self-seeding. It blossoms already for the second year of sowing, the life of the heretails is again small. But for the 3rd year, if its pillows grow before 15 cm in diameter, a real floral carpet comes out. For the sake of saxifrage, you must drop at least half a meter of space. Tokmo first it grows slowly, and later confidently occupies huge areas. It is inclined to rapid growth and another inhabitant of my stone flowerbeds - phlox is awl-shaped. Zamorochek does not deliver, is able to save the sun and drought.
