I remembered an old dream about a lawn - a meadow with emerald grass, without beds with vegetables. It seems that once around the house there was a free place, not occupied by agricultural land. It was decided to give about the lawn. I began to pronounce the information for this topic, then - distribute, in which the sequences live the work and which seeds to plant. At the same time I want to say that the horse is a lawn for many months. I myself at all stages, through the beginnings of land works before contemplating a solid clear view, took near the age. Speech 1. Seed selection and work planning

Naturally, the first age will have to be carefully looked after from him, for the first time bluegrass is whimsical. But such a lawn to be the right care is considered one of the most decorative. Therefore, bought bluegrass seeds - for 30% more than recommended by the manufacturer. This is proud, because the proportion of the material may not germinate.
I prepare the soil in spring and summer: I plan, cultivate, level, roll.
First of August I conduct herbicide treatment, get rid of through weeds.
At the end of August - I fertilize the soil and sow the lawn. I look after the shoots: I water, koshu, I fight with weeds.

The future of endless weeding did not amuse, the more so, the time of sowing was inexorably approaching. Consequently, I spilled a tamped pad, waited for the emergence of weeds and etched them round.
Later I cleaned the dried grass. After two weeks it was allowed to begin to sow. It's time, by this time, the young weeds climbed again, however I vigorously poddergival - for the cooked soil it is easy.
Speech 4. Fertilizing the lawn
Like I realized, some of the whole do not fertilize the bait lawns or fertilize them once a year, something long-playing. Surely, this approach has a room to exist, but only on grassy soils, in which nutrients are initially laid. The bottom for my site is not separately nutritious, therefore I decided to start routine through and still apply fertilizers before sowing.
For this step, I really needed a Texas seed drill, which is allowed not only to separate the seeds, but also free fertilizers too. The beginning I have perfectly spilled the ground, then - I walked through it with a drill, brought in ammophos (the contents of nitrogen and phosphorus 12-52) - according to 2 kg for weaving, also potassium chloride - according to 0.5 kg for weaving. In the presowing fertilizer - increased attention for phosphorus. It accelerates the germination of seeds and activates the formation of the root system. And later, sowing began. I mixed the seeds with sand, then I divided the total consistency for two heaps. He charged the seed drill in one portion, performed the sowing in the longitudinal direction. The sprouts are very tender, they need to dry out a little - without a break, they die. Soil must exist non-stop a bit wet, until the sprouts appear more or less developed root order. Judging from my own experience, this happens if the blade of grass reaches 4-5 cm. Then it is allowed to relax a little. However, quite a bit. Before the first mowing, the drying of the earth can start fatal for the sake of the lawn, it is very sensitive to drought.
I was very hopeful that the cold will not come in advance of time and I will have time to mow the lawn chief once, pick up a fine carpet and look for the occupation of my own hands in all the beauty. And it happened without cause. Already in 3 weeks the grass stand reached a hill near 8 cm, it was allowed to mow. In the morning I perfectly shed a lawn, took out a lawn mower - and the future!
